Ongoing Improvement Program
Construction has been completed on the luxurious new $14 million wing that
features a dramatic new 106,000+ gallon heated swimming pool with waterfall
and spa, secluded open relaxation spaces along with attractive rooftop gardens
and a casual dining area overlooking the pool to accommodate up to 60 diners.
It also includes a two-level parking garage with 70 additional covered parking
spaces for residents.
The new wing extends the Arnold B. Poole Health Center providing beautifully furnished private and semi-private rooms and common areas for residents requiring nursing care. The expanded nursing center features state-of-the-art design of facilities devoted to nursing care and a private outdoor screened patio.
The addition also includes a 2,000 sq. ft. exercise center with the latest physical fitness equipment. The new addition is the latest in an ongoing series of improvements that continue to keep Bay Village ahead of contemporary standards.

Other recently completed projects have included a luxurious new grand living room, an expanded dining room and a new entrance for residents providing a separate covered drive. In addition, all three wings have been refitted with the latest in Miami-Dade County rated hurricane-resistant windows.
The grand living room now features a classic coral stone fireplace, elegant Palladian windows, refined alabaster pendant lighting and intimate seating areas adjacent to a grand piano.

The auditorium has been completely redone with a state-of-the-art sound system, new seating and window treatments and acoustical engineering providing for residents' optimum enjoyment of a wide variety of musical, entertainment and educational programs. A fully appointed card room now offers a relaxed and informally pleasant setting for traditional Bay Village bridge competitions as well as casual games.
The ongoing improvement program continues to be committed to maintaining the Bay Village image as Sarasota's premier retirement community.
