The Tides Memory Care

Let our memory specialists help

Located just south of the main campus, The Tides of Bay Village is dedicated to providing memory care in a non-clinical setting to serve both residents and other members of the local community. At the Tides, you can expect to work one-on-one with a memory specialist that is there to help you with any memory issues you face.

Not only will you get specialized help, you will also live in one of the most tropically serene locations at Bay Village. Select apartments overlook blossoming, tropical gardens with water features and secure walking paths. The common areas are equipped with Circadian Rhythm lighting technology to ensure that you remain on a regular, daily schedule.

Skilled Nursing

Stay independent. Stay healthy.

We understand that every resident’s needs are different. That’s why at our Skilled Nursing Center, our team of medical professionals are there to create an individualized care plan for residents that need more assistance doing everyday tasks and other activities. We integrate nursing care with rehabilitation to ensure that each of our resident’s needs are met. Services at our Medicare and Medicaid approved nursing center include:

  • 24/7 skilled nursing care by registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and advanced practice nurses
  • Rehabilitation services (physical, occupational, and speech therapy)
  • Pain monitoring & care supervised by an interdisciplinary team of health care professionals
  • Activities of Daily Living programs for medical, spiritual, and social wellness

At the Rehabilitation Center, we offer private and semi-private rooms to those who need short-term medical help. Our individualized physical, occupational, and speech therapy is designed to help you thrive while you’re at Bay Village. No two residents are alike, and we make it our mission to give you a personalized treatment plan while keeping you informed about your health.

Physical Therapy at Bay Village

With a team of experienced professionals, we help you on your journey to improved health. Our mission is to restore your functional abilities so you can indulge in everything that life has to offer. We do this by using a comprehensive approach that includes patient education, hands-on treatments, and customized exercise programs with an on-site physical therapist.

Occupational Therapy at Bay Village

Occupational therapy is all about creating a bridge to wellness that helps individuals perform everyday tasks even in the midst of physical or cognitive changes. At Bay Village, we believe that everyone deserves the chance to live an abundant, fulfilling life. That’s why our occupational therapy program promotes not only independence but resilience in our senior residents’ lives.

Speech Therapy at Bay Village

Living with dyspraxia or hearing impairment can be a challenge. That’s why our team of speech therapists work hard to devise treatment plans that focus on individual needs, personality, and communication style to best empower residents to communicate better. 

We believe that all of our residents should be involved in their health, so our team of healthcare professionals makes it a priority to give you in-depth information about your health and the educational resources you need to prosper.

Home Health Care

Care in the comfort of your home

Bay Village residents have an opportunity to take advantage of our innovative home health care when recovering from an illness, an injury, or a surgical procedure. Our team of Certified Nursing Aides, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Registered Nurses work around the clock to make sure that you are taken care of in the comfort of your home. With our Home Health Care Services, you can expect:

  • Personal care (shower assistance, dressing, grooming, etc.)
  • Medication reminders
  • Light housekeeping (dishwashing, trash removal, etc.)
  • Laundry services (washing and folding)
  • Grocery shopping and delivery (once a week)
  • Meal preparation
  • Transportation and accompaniment to doctors appointments
